To answer Kath's question, next day it happened all over again. Only this time they wanted to sit in the restaurant, which wasn't set to accommodate that many guest sitting together... But it did, to some extent, allow me to control where people sat and to stagger them.
That said though we had the entire two families in the restaurant and arrived averaged four people every 5 minutes or less.
Yet again I found myself, more or less, in charge of the situation, but everything ran pretty smoothly. In fact finalizing bills was easier sunday then it was saturday and there were no issues what so ever.
The only 'complaint' i have is that after they used pretty much every table in the restaurant, the moved out on the terrace for coffees and proceeded to mess those tables up, so by 12.30 ( one hour into lunch service ) we only had have of our tables clean and reset.
