Action Shot

Hi Everyone,

Here is an action shot of me polishing glasses in the Bar at Riverwood Downs. Woo-hoo! I had only two guests in for dinner this evening so I cooked and served. Everything went well except I under cooked the Ladies' steak. She she said that everything was lovely when I asked her if her steak was cooked to her liking, but I could see that it was more like medium-rare than medium.

An interesting/ scary thing that happened today is that our AAA rating inspection (we are four and a half stars) which was scheduled for October has been brought forward to this Friday.

I did a walk through today, the kitchen walls need a wash down and the decking needs to be cleaned with deck-cleaner to cut it back. The OHS officer, the event co ordinator and I still have to do a walk-through with our OHS goggles on, but other than that I'm satisfied with the areas that are my responsibility.

The house keepers are running around like mad.

I know I'm judgemental, and maybe I am an idealist, and I do have absolutely no experience in house keeping, but inspection or no inspection, shouldn't it all be to the standard you are rated at all the time anyway?
